Nirula’s, founded in 1934 in New Delhi by Lakshmi Chand and Madan Gopal Nirula, is considered India’s first modern fast-food restaurant chain, famously launching its first outlet in 1977. Known for iconic items like the Hot Chocolate Fudge (HCF), it pioneered Western fast food (burgers, pizzas) in India. Now, they have 150+ locations.
